Over the past couple of days, I know some people have been unable to reach the Conclave (myself included). Is this a universal problem, or is it just one for some of us? I could get on yesterday until about...11 at night, but I know others couldn't...so I'm trying to work out how widespread it is...

Normally it's fine for me too...it's just today...I was asking because I know other people have been having bad problems too...but it's not so much of a worry if it's not everyone

I get an error message saying the page can't be found or something like that. If you search for 'Inquisitor Conclave' (normally I get to the Conclave via my favourites) and click on any of the links then it works strait away.

Smae - I went to google and searched for it...I've found out what the problem is. Some git's changed the address, as far as I can tell. It used to be something like...www.forums.specialist_games.com/inquisitor/forum_b etc etc...now it's www.specialist-games.com/Inquisitor/forum%5Fb/default.aspQuite why, I don't know...

How odd. I wonder what's happening to it to behave that oddly...

I have very intermittent blocks, but have put no because either repeatedly pressing refresh, or closing the explorer page, waiting thirty seconds and then trying again always works. I haven't had a serious block for some months now.

I don't know if it's related or not, but the Conclave just recently got hit by a horde of spambots again, and the admins have had to weed out a load of self-referring hijack threads. May be part of the issue, may not...

Ah. I know that we'd been getting alot of bots recently, but I didn't know that some of them were causing that sort of problem. That miohgt be why they got rid of one address, I suppose, yes...

All the GW forums (SG and BL and BI) suffer intermittent downtime or bandwidth restrictions to allow maintenance. This explains why sometimes only some people have access problems and others don't.
