Right, here is to discuss the moon.
Do we have one? Do we have more than one? What does it/they look like/do etc? How have the humans treated it? What's its history, etc, etc?
I have some ideas, but I don't have time now, so they'll come later

Edit: I hadn't realised how garbled this actually looks - you have been warned.
We have one, but it is fairly small and not particularly useful, about half the size of our moon, with no ores of appreciable worth except at depths that make mining them unfeasible. It is the domain of the Adeptus Mechanicus, the local headquarters for all operations in the system. Large portions of the surface are covered in separated (for containment safety reasons) research labs and workshops. These labs are primarily working on repairs to the limited supply of spare parts for the Hiveberg engines, refinery machines and various other systems, though others are concerned with experiments on native wildlife, the chemical composition of the seas, analysation of the tribes' social structure... There is no Head Office, but this is where the highest ranking Techpriests and Magos live and work. Non-Adept entry to the complex/satellite is by one of three public spaceports, linked to small hab-blocks and a mess hall each. Each spaceport is run primarily by multi-tasked servitors, with an overseeing low level tech-adept. There is very limited access to the research labs from the public spaceports, or indeed to any other building, except conference rooms where Guild representative, PDF Officers and Hive [mayors/tyrants/council members] can negotiate for the services provided by the Tech-adepts available to them on Bounty. Due to the limited connectivity between modules on the moon, several of the larger research labs have private spaceporst, which are shared with nearby smaller outfits. Though none are provided by the 'government' of the moon, many different runabouts are in use on the moon, llargely designed and built by researchers themselves. There are rumours of massive underground complexes, secret transport tunnels between modules, even of hidden laboratories, under the moon's surface, but these are officially non-existent. The lack of other influences on the moon have led to it becoming something of a playground for the Techpriests, or as close as they come to playing - several mechanical experiments are tested by simply releasing them, and damn the environmental risk. The moon was taken by teh Adeptus Mechanicus when it bacame clear that there were potentially a lot of projects to be worked on born from the colonisation of the Bounty, but in most case an equal potential for the destruction of the ecosystem - this was the second largest factor, after true privacy, that precipitated the move to the moon.

It sounds like there is progress being made on where our moon is going to be (see the Mekaaya). If we go ahead with having everything quite close to the sun, then I'd like some suggestions on how the facilities here are going to survive repeated flare-batterings. Or they could just stay on the dark side of teh moon, I guess, and hope that the planet's atmosphere soaks up most of the damage when they are facing the sun.

All sounds pretty good - sorry I've been so long replying, but I've been rather busy the past few days...
