Right, I suppose it might be worth laying out what basic concpets we have now in one place:
- The planet is mainly composed of some sort of deadly chemical ocean
- There is also a sizable, jungle covered continent, surrounded by smaller islands
- The Imperials gather fuel from the oceans in vast, "hive bergs," which trawl across the ocean's surface, as well as from static hives which sit on the ocean upon massive supports sunk down into the planet's crust
- The Imperial capital is a landbased seaport/metropolis thing on the jungle continent, which is where the fuel is delivered
- The jungles of this continent are inhabited by various tribes, who are generally hostile to the Imperials
- The Adeptus Mechanicus have some sort of agreement with the Imperials where the Imperials maintain control of the planet, while the AdMech are allowed to oversee the technological processes of the Hive Bergs
- Independent Trawlers also operate on smaller craft collecting fuel
- The hive bergs do not (and indeed cannot) return to the Capital port, but are supplied and offloaded by consortiums of traders
- The planet is (at least officially) ruled by a council made up of delegates from the hives and trade consortiums, as well as representatives from the Ecclesiarchy, Arbites, Administratum and Mechanicus. While it has limited control over the indivdual hives, it does control matters such as foreign (off world) policy, (incredibly vital) access to the spaceport, and anything planet wide.
